Temperature Guidelines

55 Degrees and Below: Outdoor activities may be adjusted to ensure children remain warm and safe. We recommend dressing your child in layered clothing, including a jacket, and hat.

80-84 Degrees (Green Flag Days ): Normal operations and activities are carried out. Children will enjoy outdoor time as usual.

85-87 Degrees (Yellow Flag Days): Outdoor activity will be moderated. We ensure that children are hydrated and take breaks as needed.

88-89 Degrees (Red Flag Days): Outdoor activities are limited to 30 minutes to prevent overheating. Special attention is given to hydration and shaded play areas.

90 Degrees and Above (Black Flag Days): Outdoor activities are restricted to 10 minutes, including water play, to ensure minimal exposure to extreme heat.
